Student Discount Package
What Is It?
The Student Discount Package is an initiative that aims to bridge the gap between Ontario Tech students and the community. By introducing discounts to the students in the Faculty of Science, it encourages them to visit and support these local businesses especially in a time of Covid-19.

How Does It Work?
My team and I have reached out to local businesses that are willing to work with us for this initiative. Upon filling out the registration form, students will receive an email from myself with personalized coupons with their student ID number. Students must present these coupons as well as their student ID when paying at the restaurant. Each coupon will have the amount and the terms and conditions for them.

Currently, we have two partners that were willing to do this initiative with us. The first being Tehanos grill located at 1812 Simcoe St N Unit 2, Oshawa, ON L1G 4Y3. The second being Coffee Culture located at 22 King St W, Oshawa, ON L1H 1A1.
